MCA department is embellishing under the coordinator ship of Mr. Puneet Prem Kanwar (Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry).MCA has emerged as the best performing department in the results of the HPTU Examinations. Every year the department is bagging top eight to nine position in the past nine years. Not only in academics but also in other activities the MCA students have excel well. The participation of MCA students in inter-college and departmental activities is commendable. The MCA Department organizes guest lectures and industrial visits from time to time for the MCA Students in order to build their practical know how of the industry. Recent topics of interest are discussed to make the students ready for the dynamic and turbulent technological up gradations in the IT industry.

English Spoken,Personality Development program and technical workshops on latest technologies  is organized from time to time by professional speakers/IT professionals, which is helping the MCA students to develop their interview and technical skills and perform well in placements.

The MCA department is providing the students a number of facilities like smart class rooms, internet lab, library, N-List online journals and books, sports etc.

The MCA faculty under the wise coordinator ship has achieved various milestones for the department. MCA students are well placed in reputed organizations like Tech Mahindra, Northern, Drish Infotec, Bebo Technologies, CS soft solution, think-next Technology and smart web programming, Netsmarts and Government organizations.
