Zoology as a subject provide wide scope for the students willing to go for higher studies.Students are taught all modern Sciences such as Biochemistry,Animal Physiology,Biotechnology,Molecular Biology,Genetics and Medical Zoology beside the Animal Diversity.The department has well equipped laboratory ,having Electrophoresis apparatus,centrifuge, Autoclave,Laminar flow,PH meter,Oven,Stethoscopes, Sphygmomanometers, Haemocytometer, Haemoglobinometer, refrigerator.So as to perform advanced Molecular Biology experiments.The department nurtures a healthy scientific atmosphere for overall personality development of the students and inculcate scientific approach among the students.Teachers also prepare students in their final year B. Sc. for competitive exams for JAM M.Sc. courses across the country.
