Public Administration is a social science discipline that introduces students to the concept, theory and practice of governance. It widens their horizon by helping them understand about how the government and it’s administrative machinery functions. The students at UG level would learn about this aspect in particular context of Indian Administration.  The knowledge thus acquired would  increase their general awareness about the executive branch of government and it’s relationship with legislature and judiciary of the country. Such knowledge on one hand prepares the students to face various competitive examinations after graduation and also plays a significant role in enhancing the personality of the individual by enhancing ones general knowledge.
