Sanskrit is regarded as the ancient language in Hinduism, where it was used as a means of communication and dialogue by Hindu Celestial Gods and then by the Indo Aryans. Sanskrit  the mother of all languages is one of the twenty three official  languages of India. The Sanskrit language was termed as Deva-Vani ( Deva –Gods,Vani-Language) as it was believed to have been generated by the God Brahma who passed it to the Rishis (Sages).Sanskrit literature is regarded as the richest literature in the history of mankind.Sanskrit is a scientific and systematic language known for its clarity and beauty.It has always regarded as the “sacred” language of Hindus and still continuous to be the only language used in holy functions and ceremonies of hindus.Vedic Sanskrit was the earliest form of Sanskrit in which there was composition of hymns and sacred scripts of hindus .After Vedic Literature Ramayana and Mahabharata are the two great epics of the classical period.
